Are all materials included in the program fee?

Yes, the program fee is inclusive of everything your child will need during the Summer Camp except for your child's daily snacks. We do not charge anything on top of the Summer Camp fee.

Are there any other requirements to join the Summer Camp?

Aside from filling out the Summer Camp Registration Form and settling the applicable fees, there are no other requirements.

Am I required to join the Summer Camp before enrolling for the regular school year?

Although it is not a prerequisite to enrollment, we generally recommend that you join our Summer Camp in order for us to properly assess your child's readiness for our regular school year programs.

Towards the end of this summer program, we formally invite you to enroll for the school year if we feel that your child is ready to take on the challenges of preschool life.

Can I just have my child assessed for one day instead of joining the Summer Camp?

At The Woodbridge Academy, we refrain from doing a one time assessment as a child's ability cannot be measured in just one sitting. All children are different; some may perform well the first time and others might need a bit of time to warm up.

This is the reason why our Summer Camp designed to last for 3 weeks, which we think is an ample enough timeframe to gauge a child's readiness for school.

Does your Summer Camp highly focus on academics?

Our Summer Camp is a little preview of what to expect during a school day during the regular school year at Woodbridge. We use a thematic approach to introduce a set of lessons throughout the program to make it more approachable and fun.

Question 6

Do you require the uniform to be worn during Summer Camp?

Accepted Answer

Nope! Children who attend the Summer Camp may come in comfy casual clothes. Our school uniform is reserved for the regular school year.

Question 7

My child has special needs. Can he/she join Woodbridge?

Accepted Answer

While we are a mainstream preschool, we can accept children with special needs on a case-to-case basis. For children with special needs, parents must secure the proper clearance from their developmental pediatrician or licensed speech/occupational therapist.

In some cases, the child will require an additional shadow teacher.
